1978-1988 GM G-body lower rear control arm braces. These weld-in braces are designed to prevent the lower control arm mounts from twisting off the frame. This is a real common issue with most GM cars from the mid 60's through the mid 80's. Don't sell yourself short, every G-body needs this. Quick simple install in your driveway in about an hour (welding required). We offer these braces as a welded or unwelded package for the do-it-yourselfer who wants to save a few bucks. Sold as a pair.
1978-1988 GM G-body rear upper control arm reinforcement. Fits directly into the rear crossmember area and ties the rear upper control arm, crossmember, and main frame rail together. G-bodies are notorious for bending, cracking, and even breaking in this area. Eliminate the possibility with our braces. The main advantage to using our UCA brace is the added thickness at the control arm bolt hole prevents the wearing out and ovaling of the mounting location. Don't sell yourself short, every G-body needs this. They can be easily installed in your driveway in a couple hours (welding required). Available pre-welded or unwelded. Sold as a pair.
